The main topic of the play is the problem of the person’s identity and his nationality in terms of world globalization. The unique style of the author interweaves the current problem of integration of refugees and immigrants in Europe. The dramatic interpretation emphasizes the tragicomedy aspect of the relationships that can reach absurdity and surrealism.

On 6th and 7th October took place a scientific conference named Social Functions of the Museum During XXI Century celebrated on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the National Earth and Man Museum, Sofia. During the conference were discussed different topics related to the social functions of the museum, such as the changing concept of museum, the role of new technologies in the museum activity development, as well as the necessity of advertising strategy.

This exhibition certifies some formal, morphological and subject ongoing preoccupations for the art objects and attitudes classified according to the cuteness esthetics. “Taking into account this aesthetical category combines the two concepts: commodity fetishism and subjectivity mutilation, as well as its own morphological vector, – Kindchenschema (or “baby schema”) – it leads to the unique conclusion that this approach doesn't belong to a single cultural tradition.

Alexander Gerginov, Antonia Pashova, Georgi Florov, Katya Lozanova, Neli Mitewa, Radostina Klinkova, Sylvia Roustcheva, Stanislava Dimitrova & Antoniya Raycheva turn 1,5 km of elastic bands into sculptural garments, video art and an installation, especially elaborated for the space of Sofia Arsenal – Museum for Contemporary Art.

WINTER MUSIC Performance at SAMCA
January 17 at 5 pm

An initiative of curator Nadezhda Dzhakova; a group of young actors, musicians and artists, led by director Valeria Valcheva, will work for 10 days to create the performance WINTER MUSIC, to capture the January mood of the genius loci, haunting the spaces of the Sofia Arsenal - Museum of Contemporary Art.
