The exhibition documents the social injustice based on the certainty that the photograph has changed not only people’s perception but, in some cases, altered the cause of history. The mission of FotoEvidence is to relate the human stories behind the cold statistic for murdered and injured in order to draw attention to human rights violations, injustice, oppression and assaults on sovereignty or human dignity wherever they may occur.

Living Dreams. Dreaming Lives shows photo and film pieces, created during a six-month stay of Borjana Ventzislavova in Los Angeles funded by a MAK-Schindler Scholarship. The exhibition presents the series Permanent Casting, It shakes everywhere, the video Only-acting and the 2-channel video American dream acting.

The exhibition is realized with the assistance of Becker Strasse Gallery.
